The National Monuments Service's description
In an expanse of flat, damp pasture bordering the N bank of the Fiddaunglass stream.
Evident in 1996 as a surface spread (Diam. c. 5m) of angular stone in black charcoal-rich soil, exposed from beneath a covering layer of peaty soil. It was impossible to determine full limits of the spread. It is one of a linear cluster of fulachaí fia/burnt mounds located along the course of the stream, one of which (MA038-189----) is 25m to SSE.
