The National Monuments Service's description

In average pasture, adjacent to the townland boundary at the W of the townland, located on gently elevated ground. This possible rath is shown on the 1838 as a circular ringfort-sized enclosure, and on the 1922 edition as a broadly oval hachured enclosure (diam. 35m NE–SW; 40m NW–SE). It has been levelled; there is no visible trace at ground level. There is a rath (MA038-083----) c. 150m to NE.
