The National Monuments Service's description

Incorporated into a farmyard, located on a low rise in an area of rolling grassland, bordered 250m to NW by the Deel River. Nephin Mountain is prominently visible to SSW and the Nephin Beg Range extends along the skyline to W.
Raised circular area (diam. 11m) defined by a low scarp (H 0.45-0.5m) and enclosed by a fosse (Wth 2.5-3m) with an external bank (Wth c. 3m, at NW; int. H 0.3m; ext. H 1m). The overall diameter (mid bank-mid-bank) is 19.5m. The interior is covered in long grass and brambles, with deciduous and coniferous trees growing on the outer edge of the bank. A farm trackway clips the external face of the bank at W–N. The bank at E is incorporated into a field fence, immediately to E of which there is a farmyard and shed. There is a bungalow immediately to W.
A cluster of ringbarrows and possible barrows and cairns (MA038-050----; MA038-051----; MA038-053001- to MA038-053003-; MA038-146----) is located in adjacent fields within a range of c. 100-450m to N, NE, and E, and a possible ringcairn (MA038-054----) c. 400m to S.
