The National Monuments Service's description

Although the church, named ‘Killeennashask Church (in Ruins)’, is indicated on the 1838 and 1923 OS 6-inch maps, neither edition shows the graveyard (MA021-067002-). However, O'Donovan (OS Letters 1838, 274) records that 'In Killeenashask (Townland) is another grave yard, called Cillin na Seasc, which gave name to this townland.' Dense overgrowth impeded an inspection in 1995.
