The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture, located the S side of on a low hill. The slope of the hill drops into a stream gully immediately to S. The hill provides good views of the surrounding undulating countryside and of Carrowmore Lake c. 750m to NW. Two surface openings are evident on the brow of the hill. The larger opening (2.4m NE–SW; 1.5m NW–SE), at the SW, is located close to the break of slope at the top of the S-facing slope of the hill. The second surface opening (1.4m NE–SW; 0.7m NW–SE) is located 4m to NE. Both openings reveal cavities in which portions of drystone walling and roof lintels are visible. The two openings appear to represent collapsed sections of a stone-built passage or chamber extending roughly NE–SW. There is no evidence of an associated enclosure. There is a children’s burial ground (MA018-008----) located c. 25m to SW on the S side of the stream gully.
