The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, located on an elevation bordered the S side of a stream gully, and overlooked by a higher hill on the N side of the stream. There is a souterrain (MA018-015----) in the hill c. 35 to NE. At this location there is an elongated, irregular oval-shaped hillock or mound (c. 10m NE–SW; c. 12m NW–SE; H 2m) with a narrow flattened top (max. dim. c. 2m) from which the sides slope steeply. Much stone is visible barely protruding from the sod cover on the mound. Set upright in the top of the mound is a stone slab with ‘Cilleen 2000 RIP’ inscribed on it. Another inscribed commemoration slab, dated 2011, is set upright in concrete at the NE edge of the mound.
