The National Monuments Service's description

Located immediately to the S of a holy well (MA008-004001-), on an E-facing slope.
This penitential cairn (2.5m E-W; 4.2m N-S; H 0.6m) consists of a loose pile of field stones, now partly sod-covered. It is associated with a ‘pattern’ or prayer round traditionally undertaken at the well. Another penitential cairn (MA008-004005-) is located a few meters to the NE. An early medieval church (MA008-006001-) and graveyard (MA008-006007-) are located c. 40m to S.
