The National Monuments Service's description
In an enclosure (MA008-001001-). The enclosure is indicated as ‘Grave Yard’ on the 1838 OS 6-inch map, and as ‘Children’s Burial Ground’ on the 1922 edition. According to tradition, it was used as a burial ground for unbaptised babies, and was locally known as ‘Killwee’ (Aldridge 1969, 85). A few low, uninscribed stones protruding from the ground may be grave markers.
