The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture 120m E of the Ahaphuca River that marks the townland boundary with Tulla. Standing stone (LI057-053----) lies 300m to SE and enclosure (LI057-054----) 350m to E. Depicted on the 1897 ed. OSi 25-inch map as a raised sub-rectangular-shaped area (dims. c. 20m N-S; 24m E-W) defined by a scarp with external fosse and outer bank from SE-S-NW. Surveyed in 1978 when described as a double banked and ditched ringfort (diam. 22m) enclosed by a ditch (Wth 2m) and outer bank (Wth 0.5m; H 0.5m) at W. Truncated at N by a dyke running E-W. At NW there are remains of a rectangular-shaped area (dims. 6m x 10m) enclosed by banks that may represent a structure. Outline of rectangular-shaped monument is visible on Google Earth orthoimages where it is truncated at N by a watercourse and at E by a farm track running N-S.
See attached Google Earth orthoimages.
