The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture 100m S of the townland boundary with Griston West and 275m E of a watercourse that marks the townland boundary with Ballintober. Depicted on the 1840 ed. OSi 6-inch map as a raised oval-shaped area defined by a scarp. It is shown on the 1897 ed. OSi 25-inch map as a raised oval-shaped area (dims. c. 28m NE-SW; 25m NW-SE) defined by a scarp. Visible as an oval-shaped area covered with trees on Digital Globe orthoimage taken between 2011-13 and on Google Earth orthoimages.
