The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture 15m SE of the townland boundary with Ballyfauskeen and 300m NW of the River Aherlow. Possible barrow (LI057-010----) lies 100m to NW. Depicted on the 1840 ed. OSi 6-inch map as a circular enclosure. It is shown on the 1897 ed. OSi 25-inch map as a roughly circular-shaped area (diam. c. 27m) defined by a fosse that is incorporated into a field boundary from NE-E-SE. Outline of monument delimited by trees is visible on Google Earth orthoimages.
