The National Monuments Service's description

In level wet pasture, with good views, 50m NE of a watercourse that forms townland boundary with Baunteen. Possible ringfort (LI050-016---) lies 175m to the S. Not marked on the 1840 ed. OSi 6-inch map. Depicted on the 1897 ed. OSi 25-inch map as a circular-shaped area enclosed by a bank from SSE-S-W-N, incorporated into a post-1700 field boundary from N-E-SSE. Surveyed by the ASI in 1999, described as a raised circular-shaped area (diam. 35m) enclosed by a low bank (H. 0.4m) from SE-S-W-N, incorporated into a field boundary from N-E-SE. Interior level and densely overgrown. Tree-covered monument visible on Digital Globe orthoimage taken between 2011-2013 and on Google Earth orthoimages. Earthwork may represent the remains of a post-1700 haggard or field boundary attached to a farmhouse as depicted on 1840 ed. OSi 6-inch map.
