The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture 160m NW of a roadway that marks the townland boundary with Baunteen. Depicted on the 1840 ed. OSi 6-inch map as a circular-shaped platform. Shown on the 1897 ed. OSi 25-inch map as a sub-circular-shaped area (dims. c. 34m NW-SE; 25m NE-SW) enclosed by a bank transected at NW by a post-1700 field boundary. Surveyed by the ASI in 1999 and described as a raised circular-shaped area (diam. c. 25m) enclosed by a poorly preserved bank (Wth 2m) mainly reduced to a scarp (H 0.8m), truncated at N by a field boundary running NE-SW, intersected at E by a field boundary running NW-SE. Interior level and densely overgrown. Outline of overgrown monument is visible on Google Earth orthoimages.
