The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture, on SE facing slope of river valley overlooking Morningstar River 35m to E which marks townland boundary with Killeen. Ogham Stone (LI049-112----) 370m to SW. Stone (H 1.2m; 0.9m x 0.23m) with tapering stop is rectangular in plan, long axis NE-SW. Lo0se stone around base of standing stone may be remains of packing-stones.
