In pasture. Depicted on the 1840 ed. OSi 6-inch map as a raised oval-shaped area defined by a scarp, intersected at NE, SE and SW by post-1700 field boundaries. Shown on the 1897 ed. OSi 25-inch map as a raised sub-circular shaped area (dims. c. 20m N-S; 22m E-W) defined by a scarp from SW-W-N-NE, incorporated into a post-1700 field boundary running from NE-E-S-SW. Monument visible as an oval-shaped area enclosed by a tree-lined bank with fosse on Digital Globe orthoimage taken between 2011-13 and on Google Earth orthoimages.
