The National Monuments Service's description
In wet pasture. An enclosure (LI049-157----) lies 105m to the NW. Not marked on the 1840 ed. OSi 6-inch map. Depicted on the 1897 ed. OSi 25-inch map as a raised oval-shaped area (dims. c. 31m N-S; 25m E-W) defined by a scarp from W-N-E-SE incorporated into a post-1700 field boundary running NW-SE. Monument visible as an oval-shaped area enclosed by a tree-lined fosse on Digital Globe orthoimage taken between 2011-13 and on Google Earth orthoimages.
