In pasture, 105m W of townland boundary with Knockaunacurragha, an enclosure (LI049-147----) lies 55m to the SE. Not depicted on the historic OSi maps. Possible barrow identified as a raised sub-circular shaped area, on Bórd Gáis Éireann Curraleigh West-Limerick gas pipeline aerial photographs (BGE 1/10,560; 0119) taken 03/11/1984. Monument visible as a raised D-shaped area on Digital Globe orthoimage taken between 2011-13 and on Google Earth orthoimages.
