In pasture, 190m E of townland boundary with Knockaunacurragha, a possible enclosure (LI049-144----) lies 45m to the N. Not marked on the 1840 ed. OSi 6-inch map. Depicted on the 1897 ed. OSi 25-inch map as a sunken oval-shaped area (dims. c. 31m N-S; 21m E-W) which may be the remains of a post-1700 quarry. Earthwork visible as a sunken oval-shaped area, intersected by a linear cropmark running E-W, on Digital Globe orthoimage taken between 2011-13 and on Google Earth orthoimage dated 18/11/2018. Possible quarry hole of post-1700 date.
