In pasture, 165m E of townland boundary with Knockaunacurragha, a possible enclosure (LI049-145----) lies 45m to the S. Depicted on the 1840 ed. OSi 6-inch map as a raised sub-circular shaped platform defined by a scarp. Not depicted on subsequent editions of the OSi historic maps. Enclosure visible as a sub-circular shaped cropmark, on Bórd Gáis Éireann Curraleigh West-Limerick gas pipeline aerial photographs (BGE 1/10,560; 0119) taken 03/11/1984. Monument visible as a large oval-shaped cropmark on Digital Globe orthoimage taken between 2011-13 and on Google Earth orthoimage dated 18/11/2018.
