The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, 175m E of townland boundary with Kilmihil. A ringfort known locally as Rathard' (LI048-046----) lies 80m to the SW. Depicted on the 1840 ed. OSi 6-inch map as a raised circular-shaped area defined by a scarp. Shown on the 1897 OSi 25-inch map as a raised sub-circular shaped area (dims. c. 21m N-S; 24m E-W) defined by a scarp, intersected at N by a field drain running E-W. Overgrown monument intersected at W by a modern trackway running N-S visible on Digital Globe orthoimage taken between 2011-13 and on Google Earth orthoimages.
