The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, 50m W of townland boundary with Ballygillane. An enclosure (LI047-099----) lies 110m to the W. Depicted on the 1840 ed. OSi 6-inch map as a raised circular shaped area defined by a scarp. Shown on the 1897 OSi 25-inch map as a raised sub-circular shaped area (dims. c. 45m N-S; 45m E-W) defined by a scarp. Monument visible as sub-circular shaped area defined by a scarp with a possible hutsite (dims. c. 6.5m N-S; 5m E-W) in SW quadrant on Digital Globe orthoimage taken between 2011-13 and on Google Earth orthoimages.
