The National Monuments Service's description
In wet poorly drained land in the centre of a modern conifer plantation, 15m SE of a stream that marks the townland boundary with Ballynahinch. Two barrows (LI040-120----; LI048-070----) lie 66m to the NE and 40m to SW, respectively. Not marked on historic OSi maps. Identified as a rectangular shaped feature on Bórd Gáis Éireann Curraleigh-Limerick gas pipeline aerial photograph (BGE 1:5000 No. 2571) taken 03/11/1984. Faint outline of earthwork visible on Digital Globe orthoimage taken between 2011-13. No surface remains visible on Google Earth orthoimages.
