The National Monuments Service's description
In reclaimed pasture, 170m W of townland boundary with Martinstown. Not marked on the 1840 ed. OSi 6-inch map. Depicted on the 1897 ed. OSi 25-inch as a raised oval-shaped platform (dims. c. 18m NW-SE; 16m NE-SW) defined by a scarp. Monument visible as a circular-shaped cropmark on Digital Globe orthoimage taken between 2011-13. Earthwork visible as a circular shaped platform with ESB pole standing in N quadrant and enclosing fosse defined by differential vegetation growth on Google Earth orthoimage taken 28/06/2018.
