The National Monuments Service's description
Ó Danachair (1955, 208) recorded the following details about this holy well; 'Toberbreedy on 1840 map. A slow spring, lined with stone, in an open field behind Kilbreedy church ruin. Still known as a holy well, but no devotions have been practised for over a century'.
