The National Monuments Service's description
Ó Danachair (1955, 210) recorded the following details about this holy well; 'Lady's Well on 1840 map. A good spring in the fosse of a ring fort (LI047-068005-). Now built up with concrete, with an overflow trough for cattle drinking. "Lady's Well, now but seldom frequented". OSL. No devotions now, but still regarded as a holy well'.
