The National Monuments Service's description

Ó Danachair (1955, 210) recorded the following details about this holy well; 'Tobereracran on 1840 map. Now a small batch of swamp from which a clear stream flows. "Toberacran. A holy well where there were stations formerly performed, but now it is seldom frequented". OSNB. Not known now as a holy well'.
