The National Monuments Service's description
In reclaimed pasture 20m N of railway track and 115m S of the R115. Thomastown townland lies 30m to W. Not depicted on the 1840 ed. OSi 6-inch map. It is shown on the 1897 ed. OSi 25-inch map as a raised roughly circular-shaped area (diam. c. 28m) enclosed by a bank and external fosse. Outline of poorly preserved monument is visible on Digital Globe orthoimage taken between 2011-13 and on Google Earth orthoimages.
