The National Monuments Service's description
In reclaimed pasture, 40m NE of the townland boundary with Effin. Depicted as a circular-shaped earthwork on the 1840 ed. OSi 6-inch map. Shown on the 1897 ed. OSi 25-inch map as a raised semi-circular-shaped area (dims. c. 24m NE-SW; 13m NW-SE) truncated at SE by railway track running NE-SW. Outline of overgrown monument is visible on Digital Globe orthoimage taken between 2011-13 and on Google Earth orthoimages.
