The National Monuments Service's description
In reclaimed pasture 17m S of the R518 roadway that marks townland boundary with Ballygubba North. Depicted as a circular-shaped enclosure on the 1840 ed. OSi 6-inch map. Shown on the 1897 ed. OSi 25-inch map as an oval-shaped platform (dims. c. 20m N-S; 27m E-W) defined by a scarp which has been partial levelled or quarried into at S. Visible as a raised oval-shaped area on Digital Globe orthoimage taken between 2011-13 and on Google Earth orthoimages where it is intersected at W by a modern property boundary running N-S.
