The National Monuments Service's description
In reclaimed pasture 170m S of the townland boundary with Ballygubba South. Depicted as a circular-shaped enclosure on the 1840 ed. OSi 6-inch map. Shown on the 1897 ed. OSi 25-inch map as a sub-rectangular-shaped platform (dims. c. 23m N-S; 26m E-W) defined by a scarp with fosse. Levelled earthwork visible as a circular-shaped cropmark on Digital Globe orthoimage taken between 2011-13 and on Google Earth orthoimage dated 28/06/2018.
