The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, on E-facing slope. D-shaped area (40m N-S; 24m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 0.35m; ext. H 0.3m) NW->SW, with external fosse (D 0.3m; Wth 2.4m) NW->NE. From SW to NE site defined by a very slight linear depression. Field boundary skirts external base of bank N->NNW. Interior slopes down gently to E. Entire site under pasture.
