The National Monuments Service's description

In Abbeyfeale town, on S side of Main Street. Rectangular graveyard (c. 50m E-W; c. 30m N-S) bounded to S by houses. and elsewhere by stone wall; entrance near W end of S side. Just inside gate is neo-classical limestone chest tomb dated to 1830s; there are five further chest tombs along E wall and two near centre overgrown by sycamores. Otherwise filled with 19th and 20th century grave plots, the earliest headstones noted dating to 1820s. No visible surface trace of church/abbey which formerly stood here (LI042-012001-).
