Situated on the demesne lands of Ryves Castle which is built on the site of Castle Jane (LI041-047-----) located 130m to E. Ballyscaddan burial ground (LI041-019002-), known locally as Castle Jane graveyard, lies 130m to N. Identified as a potential site on Bórd Gáis Éireann Curraleigh West-Limerick gas pipeline aerial photographs (BGE 1:10,000 No. 76) taken 03/11/1984. No surface remains visible on OSi orthophotos or on Google Earth orthoimages.
