The National Monuments Service's description
Ó Danachair (1955, 209) recorded the following details about this holy well; 'Toberancurraheen on 1840 map. "A blessed well". OSNB. This well is identified by some as that which sprang up at the siege of Knocklong (see no. 75 above). Lenihan, Limerick, its History and Antiquities, 735'.
