The National Monuments Service's description
In reclaimed pasture, 150m E of townland boundary with Goatisland. A possible barrow (LI040-048002-) lies 50m to the SE and an earthwork (LI040-047002-) within a field system (LI040-047001-) lies 120m to the SW. Not marked on OSi historic maps. Identified by the Bruff aerial photographic survey in 1986 (Bruff 147, AP 5/2109) as a circular cropmark of a possible barrow. Monument visible as a circular cropmark (diam. c. 12m) on Digital Globe orthoimage taken between 2011-2013. No surface remains visible on Google Earth orthoimages.
