The National Monuments Service's description

In reclaimed pasture 115m SW of the Morningstar River that marks the townland boundary with Milltown. Ditch barrow (LI040-253----) lies 22m to NW and barrow (LI040-247----) lies 25m to NW. Not depicted on OSi historic maps. Identified as a possible barrow by Bruff aerial photographic survey in 1986 (Bruff 127.02; AP 5/2069). Visible as a circular-shaped area enclosed by a ditch on oblique aerial photograph (ASIAP (348) 22). Faint traces of a cropmark visible on Google Earth orthoimages.
