The National Monuments Service's description
In rough wet pasture, immediately E of townland boundary with Ballynamona. Not marked on OSi historic maps. Identified as a linear cropmark running NE-SW by the Bruff aerial photographic survey in 1986 (Bruff 106; AP 5/2117). Monument visible as linear cropmarks covering a large area (dims. c. 177m NW-SE x 114m NE-SW), on Google Earth orthoimage taken 01/04/2021. Could be the remains of a drainage ditch associated with post-1700 land reclamation. Doubtful antiquity.
See attached Bruff survey image showing cropmark labelled Bruff 106 and Google Earth orthoimages.
