In reclaimed wet pasture. Not marked on OSi historic maps. Possible site identified during examination of aerial photographs (BGE 1/10,000, 74) taken 03/11/1984 on Bórd Gáis Éireann gas pipeline. Monument visible as a sub-rectangular shaped cropmark (dims. c. 25m N-S x 15m E-W) on Digital Globe orthoimage taken between 2011-13 and on Google Earth orthoimages. A relic watercourse running NE-SW intersects the cropmark at W.
