The National Monuments Service's description

Rectangular shaped cross-inscribed stone (dims. 0.6m H x 0.35m Wth x 0.16m T) standing immediately inside wall footings of S wall in centre of medieval church site of Knocklong. The top of the stone has been broken off. The E face of the stone has an inscribed Latin Cross with forked terminals to the arms of the cross.
