The National Monuments Service's description
In reclaimed wet pasture, a watercourse roughly E-W and associated with earthworks (LI040-289----; LI041-002001-) and enclosure (LI040-002002-). Not marked on OSi historic maps. Visible as linear cropmarks on aerial photographs (BGE 1/5000 2571, Strip map 4, site 4/19) taken 03/11/1984 on Bórd Gáis Éireann Curraleigh West-Limerick gas pipeline. Visible as a pattern of linear cropmarks, some perpendicular to each, located over a large area (500m NW-SE x 220m NE-SW) visible on Digital Globe orthoimage and on Google Earth orthophotos. Monument visible on aerial photographs (ASIAP (343) 17) taken 05/01/2003
