In a conifer plantation, 50m S of watercourse that forms townland boundary with Hammondston, an enclosure (LI040-135----) lies to the immediate NE. Not marked on OSi historic maps. Identified as a rectangular earthwork to S of enclosure on aerial photograph (BGE 1/5000 2571, Strip map 4, site 4/35) taken 03/11/1984 on Bórd Gáis Éireann Curraleigh West-Limerick gas pipeline. No surface remains visible on Digital Globe orthoimage and Google Earth orthoimages.
