The National Monuments Service's description
In wet unimproved pasture on the S bank of the Morningstar River that marks the townland boundary with Adamstown. Identified as a possible barrow (Site No. 040273) during examination of aerial photographs (BGE 1/5000 2560) taken 03/11/1984 on Bórd Gáis Éireann gas pipeline. Listed by Grogan (1989, vol. 2, 210) as 'Adamstown 2'. No surface remains visible on Google Earth orthoimages.
