The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture immediately W of the townland boundary with Stephenstown. Depicted on 1840 ed. OSi 6-inch map as a rectangular-shaped field enclosing a building. Identified as a rectangular enclosure (site No. 040110) during examination of Bórd Gáis Éireann gas pipeline aerial photographs (BGE 1/5000 2558) taken 03/11/1984. Visible as an overgrown rectangular-shaped area on Google Earth orthoimage dated 14/09/2020. This is not an antiquity but the remains of a small field or haggard associated with the building depicted on the 1840 ed. OSi 6-inch map.
See attached Google Earth orthoimages.
