In reclaimed pasture 140m E of the townland boundary with Adamstown. Not depicted asdan antiquity on OSi maps. Shown as a square-shaped field (dims. c. 29m N-S x 29m E-W) enclosing a buildings at E side on 1897 ed. OSi 25-inch map. Identified as a square enclosure on examination of Bord Gáis Éireann aerial photograph (BGE 2559; Site No. 097; strip map 4 site 4/27) taken 03/11/1984. No surface remains visible on Google Earth orthoimages. Post-1700 enclosure or haggard associated with farm building as depicted on 1840 ed. OSi 6-inch map.
