The National Monuments Service's description

In reclaimed pasture 50m SW of the Morningstar River that marks the townland boundary with Gormanstown. One of a group of three possible barrows (LI040-071001/003-) with a fourth (LI040-071004-) located 160m to E. Not depicted on OSi historic maps. Identified as a ring- barrow (site No. 040210) during examination of aerial photographs (BGE 1/5000 2558) taken 03/11/1984 on the Bórd Gáis Éireann gas pipeline. No surface remains visible on OSi orthophotos or Digital Globe orthoimage taken 2011-13.
