In reclaimed pasture, one of a group of three barrows (LI040-061007-/009-) described by O'Kelly (1944, 52) as; 'three ring-barrows. All are exactly similar in diameter. They are circular flat spaces surrounded by continuous fosses and banks. The latter are slight but the fosses are well defined. The diameters are 15' [4.5m], 18' [5.5m] and 24' [7.3m] respectively'. Not marked on OSi historic maps. Possible ring-barrow listed by Grogan (1989, 218) as 'Ballynamona 6'. No surface remains visible on OSi orthophoto taken between 2005-12. Circular-shaped cropmark visible on Google Earth orthoimage taken 14/09/2019.
