The National Monuments Service's description

In rough reclaimed pasture, one of a group of barrows (LI040-055001/005-). Not marked on OSi historic maps. Identified by the Bruff aerial photographic survey in 1986 (Bruff 80.1; AP 5/2108) as a small circular cropmark of a possible ditch barrow. Also visible on aerial photographs (BGE 1/50000 2552) taken 03/11/1984 as part of Bórd Gáis Éireann Curraleigh West-Limerick gas pipeline. Faint trace of monument visible as circular cropmark on OSi orthophoto taken between 2005-12 and on Google Earth orthoimages.
