The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture 100m S of a watercourse that marks the townland boundary with Rathcannon. Possible moated site (LI039-070001-) lies to immediate NW. Depicted on the 1840 ed. OSi 6-inch map as a semi-circular-shaped area (diam. c. 20m) defined by a bank only from S-W-N. Not depicted on the 1897 ed. OSi 25-inch map. No surface remains visible on OSi orthophoto taken between 2005-12. Possible cropmark visible on Google Earth orthoimages. Doubtful antiquity may be related to OS spot height taken at this location which is shown on the 1840 ed. OSi 6-inch map.
See attached Google Earth orthoimages.
