The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, on slight rise in generally level terrain. Circular area (44m N-S; 40.5m NE-SW) enclosed by eroded earthen bank (int. H 0.6m; ext. H 1.8m) with external fosse (D 0.8m; Wth 1.7m). Break in bank at W (Wth 3m) with possible causeway over fosse but this area recently damaged by agricultural activity. Interior slopes gently down from perimeter towards centre. Both interior and enclosing element partially covered by trees and undergrowth.
