The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, in NE corner of field, immediately W of road running NE-SW and S of access lane running E-W. Depicted on 1840 ed. OSi 6-inch map as a sub-circular shaped platform defined by a scarp. Shown on the 1897 ed. OSi 25-inch map as sub-circular shaped area (dims. c. 26m NW-SE; 29m NE-SW) enclosed by a bank from SE-S-W-NW and external fosse from SSE-SW-W-N-NE, truncated from NE-S by a post-1700 field boundary running N-S. No surface remains of levelled monument on OSi orthophotograph taken between 2005-2012. Monument visible as an oval-shaped cropmark on Google Earth orthoimage dated 28/06/2018.
